About
A family shop in a small town, run by people who were doing this long before it was legal. Come in, take your time, ask whatever you want to ask.

How we got here
It came down both sides of my family. Before it was legal, before there were licences and labels and anybody calling it an industry, this is what my people did. I grew up around it — around the knock at the door, the talk at the kitchen table, and the fact that the whole thing ran on your word being good.
When it became something you could do properly, out in the open, we wanted to do it here. Bothwell is home. A small town notices everything, which is exactly the right pressure to build a shop under — you cannot hide behind a brand when the person at the counter went to school with your cousin.
We opened in October 2021 and built it around two things: family and the town. Family, because that is who stands behind the counter and who taught me what good product looks like. The town, because a shop like this should be somewhere you can send your mother, ask a straight question, and get a straight answer. That is the whole plan. It has not changed.
“My family sold this long before anyone was allowed to. The only thing that changed is the sign out front.”
What we stand for
Every price is on the shelf and on the menu, the same for everyone, no haggling and no quiet mark-ups.
Ask what’s good this week and you’ll get a straight answer, including “that one’s not worth it today”.
We taste and vet what comes in. If it doesn’t hold up, it doesn’t make the shelf.
